Purpose

To agree necessary Main Modifications to the
Local Plan and approve further required consultation on those
modifications

Content

*RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL
 
That Cabinet recommend to Council that:
 

a)   
The Main Modifications to the Local
Plan 2021 – 2039 (Main Modification Schedule in Appendix 2 as
amended by this Supplement) and supporting Additional Modifications
(Appendix 3), Policies Map Modifications (Appendix 4 as amended as
described in this Supplement), Habitats Regulations Assessment
addendum (HRA, Appendix 5) and Sustainability Appraisal addendum
(SA, Appendix 6) are approved for a six-week consultation from 10
April – 27 May 2025;

b)   
the Director of Planning and the
Environment be authorised, following consultation with the Cabinet
Member for Planning Services to make amendments to documents listed
in a) prior to consultation and/or if the Inspectors require
further modifications following the consultation.
