Purpose

Cabinet to consider the responses received to
the consultation exercise associated with the proposed 10% increase
to Hackney Carriage and Private Hire licensing fees and charges,
and to recommend these are subsequently approved, or otherwise, by
General Licensing Committee.

RESOLVED
 
That Cabinet consider the responses shown at Appendix
3 received in connection with the consultation exercise proposing a
10% increase to all current hackney carriage and private hire
licensing fees and charges.
 
*RECOMMENDATION
 
That
Cabinet recommend to General Licensing Committee the approval of
the fees and charges in relation to hackney carriage and private
hire licensing shown at Appendix 1.
