Purpose

To consider the refurbishment of public
conveniences sites, approve the project and release fund from the
asset replacement programme and additional budget and provide
delegated authority to enable the project to progress through
procurement to completion.

RESOLVED
AND *RECOMMENDED TO COUNCIL
 
1.   
That Cabinet approves the PID for the
refurbishment of Public Conveniences at the eight selected
sites.
2.   
*That Cabinet recommends to Council to approve
the release of Asset Replacement Fund and additional budget to
enable the delivery of the project, as set out in the Part 2
Appendix.
3.   
That Cabinet delegates authority to the Director
for Growth and Place, following consultation with the Cabinet
Member for Culture, Sport and Place, to approve the appointment of
a contractor to deliver the works to practical completion following
conclusion of the procurement exercise needed to award the
contract.
