RESOLVED
 
1.   
To approve that a sum of £246,500 of
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) funding be used to fund the
projects and initiatives identified in the appendix of this report
and to meet the objectives in 4.0.
2.   
To note that EPR grant funding made by the
Government is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of
recycling collections throughout the district. The funding has been
possible by levying a charge on packaging producers to encourage
them to reduce packaging and to increase the recyclability of the
packaging they produce.
