Purpose

The Government is consulting on proposed
changes to how decisions are made and how planning committee
operate. The report sets out the proposed response to the
consultation.

RESOLVED

That Cabinet approve the attached responses as
amended by the Planning Committee to the consultation questions for
submission in response to the government consultation on
‘Reform of planning committees: technical consultation’
contained in Appendix 1 as amended including the recommendations of
Planning Committee in paragraph 6-10 of the
report.
