Consider the future Cultural Grants Funding
allocation for Chichester Festival Theatre and Pallant House
Gallery post 31 March 2026.

*RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL
 
That the
Cabinet recommends to the Council that:
 
1.   
A grant of £187,500 per annum plus
inflation is offered to Chichester Festival Theatre for four years
commencing April 2026, subject to agreeing terms of the Funding
Agreement.
2.   
A grant of £130,000 per annum plus
inflation is offered to Pallant House Gallery for four years
commencing April 2026, subject to agreeing terms of the Funding
Agreement.
3.   
That the Director for Growth and Place, following
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Culture, Sport &
Place, is given delegated authority to agree the terms of the
Funding Agreements and Monitoring Framework.
4.   
In the event that the annual inflation rate is in
excess of 5% authority to pay be brought back to
Cabinet.
