Consider the future funding allocation for The
Great Sussex Way post 31 March 2026.

*RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL
 
Cabinet
recommends to Council to approve:
 
1.   
A grant of £130,000 per annum plus
inflation is offered to The Great Sussex Way for four years
commencing April 2026, subject to:

·      
Agreeing terms of the Funding Agreement and
Monitoring Framework.

·      
Achieving the performance measurements within the
Monitoring Framework on an annual basis.
2.   
The Director for Growth and Place, following
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Culture, Sport &
Place, is given delegated authority to agree the terms of the
Funding Agreements and Monitoring Framework.
3.   
If the annual inflation rate exceeds 5%,
authority to approve the additional inflationary amount shall
revert to Cabinet.
