Purpose

Adoption of the Council's Corporate Plan and
consideration of any Initial Project Proposal Documents put forward
for 2026-27.

Content

Recommendations to Council:
 
1.2 That
the Council be recommended to approve the Corporate Plan for
2026-2030 as set out in Appendices 1 and 2.
 
1.3 That
the new project proposals for 2026-2027, as set out in Appendices 3
to 9, be agreed.
 
1.4 That subject to 1.3, the Council be recommended
to set aside £6,296,000 from the Council’s General Fund
Reserve to fund the large scale projects identified in paragraph
2.4, with release of funding being subject to further consideration
by Full Council.
 
1.5 To
note the estimated reduction of £350,000 in ongoing revenue
costs for the proposed large-scale projects identified in para
2.4.
 
1.6 That
subject to 1.3, £667,700 be approved from the Council’s
General Fund Reserve to fund the medium and small-scale projects
identified in paragraph 2.5.
 
1.7 To
approve an increase in the Council’s annual budget of
£6,500 to fund the associated ongoing revenue costs for
projects identified in para 2.5.
