Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to
approve the award of a new cleaning contract for East Pallant House, the Novium, the CCTV office and the Careline operational buildings.

RESOLVED
 
(1) 
That the contract for the cleaning of operational
buildings for the period 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2021 be
awarded to Supplier J, the details of which are set out in the
exempt appendix to the agenda report.
 
(2) 
That authority be delegated to the Director of
Corporate Services after consultation with the Cabinet Member for
Corporate Services to:

 

(1) 
make any minor contractual changes during the
contract term.

 

(2) 
extend the contract by mutual agreement for up to
two years should the contract remain economically advantageous and
the supplier perform satisfactorily.
