Purpose

The Local Government Finance Act provides devolved powers for billing authorities to make decisions on the level of council tax discount which can be applied to empty homes.

1. 1That the locally defined Council Tax discounts and premiums set out in Appendix 1 continue unchanged from 1 April 2027 for the financial year 2027-2028.
