Purpose

To indicate the Council's response to WSCC's
public engagement and consultation on early stage design ideas for
the Route K (Fishbourne Road East and parts of Westgate,
Chichester) of the Council's 'Chichester City Local Cycling and
Walking Plan'.

Content

RESOLVED
 

1.   
That Cabinet supports the WSCC public engagement
and consultation regarding Route K of the Council’s
Chichester City Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan and
indicates a preference for Option 2 and Option A of the
proposals.

2.   
Cabinet also endorses the comments by Cllr Brown
to be included in the covering letter to West Sussex County
Council.
