Purpose

Cabinet have previously approved the
demolition of Tower Street Public Conveniences as a result of the
structural conditions. This report will provide an updated on an
option for the site.

*RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL:

Cabinet recommends Council approve
Option 5 and releases from general fund reserves the amount of
£206,206 as set out in the Part 2 Appendix for the provision
of three direct access toilets with associated public realm
improvements.
 
RESOLVED:
 

2.   
That Cabinet delegates authority to
the Director of Growth and Place, following consultation with
Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Place, to approve the
appointment of a contractor to deliver Option 5 on the Tower Street
site.
