Purpose

That Cabinet recommends that the Chief
Executive uses her constitutional delegation to enter into a
Section 101 arrangement with Portsmouth City Council for the
provision of stray dog kennelling services for a further duration
of three years 2024 - 2027.

RESOLVED
 
1.   
That Cabinet notes the intention to
put in place a further Section 101 arrangement with Portsmouth City
Council for the provision of stray dog kennelling services for a
further duration of three years from 2024 to 2027.
2.   
That authority be delegated to the
Director of Planning and Environment in consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Environmental Strategy to extend the contract by
a further two years (2027- 2029) if, on review, the contract
performance is considered to be satisfactory.
