Purpose

The report summarises the procurement approach
to select a contractor for clinical waste collection and support
services.

The report will recommend that delegated authority be given to the
Director of Corporate Services, in consultation with the Cabinet
Member for Finance, Corporate Services and Chichester Contract
Services, to award contract via the West Sussex County Council
framework once the procurement has been concluded, providing the
contract value is contained within the existing service
budget.

Cabinet
