Chorley Liaison is a joint consultative
meeting of Borough Council and Parish and Town Council
representatives, with County Councillors also being invited to
attend meetings.
The liaison meeting is open to the public and
its primary function is to engage with elected representatives to
consider issues of shared priority and concern, particularly
matters of a strategic nature, which impact on the local
community.
In addition to the membership of Borough
Councillors who are Chairs of the Neighbourhood meetings; parish or
town councillor representatives from each of the Parish and Town
Councils; and Lancashire County Councillors are also invited to
attend to discuss and respond to County Council matters.
