Reasons for recommendations

1.     
To ensure that the project meets the timescales
specified in the Salix funding agreement. Adhering to these
deadlines is crucial for securing the allocated funding under the
Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme 4 (PSDS4), enabling the
decarbonisation works at All Seasons Leisure Centre to proceed
without delay.

2.     
Aligns with Chorley Council's commitment to its
green agenda by actively reducing the council’s carbon
footprint. The implementation of these early decarbonisation works
at All Seasons Leisure Centre demonstrates a tangible step towards
environmental sustainability and supports efforts to meet local and
national climate objectives.
