Decision
Following a transparent,
competitive tendering exercise, conducted in accordance with
procurement regulations, the recommendation is to give permission
to appoint the recommended contractor Preston Care & Repair
Limited for the reasons outlined in this report.
 
Reasons for recommendations
The tendering process was fair
and transparent, adhering to required procurement procedure. The
recommended Contractor has demonstrated their capability to meet
the contract specification as well as scoring the highest overall
across the Price/Quality/Social Value assessment model.
 
Other
options considered and rejected
As each tender received fair
and equal consideration, and as the procurement exercise was
carried out in accordance with Contract Procedure Rules (CPRs),
there was no requirement to consider alternative options on this
occasion.
