Reasons for
recommendations
To enhance the recreation
ground for sporting and recreational purposes as set out in the
Section 106 agreements relating to the site. Public and ward member
consultation has determined the site improvements. The
recommendations within this report are to deliver phase two of a
wider project to enhance the playing pitches and improve the
lighting on site to compliment the recently completed works to
improve the paths, boundary fencing and create more car
parking.  The proposed contract awards
continue to upgrade the facility and provide an improved experience
for visitors and residents.
 
Other
options considered and rejected
No other options were
considered owing to S106 money having been collected specifically
for the purpose of enhancing Jubilee Recreation Ground for
recreational and sporting purposes.
