Reasons for
recommendation
The applicant was the sole applicant of the
tender we issued for marquee hire for the event. The flower show
takes place at Astley Park which has no available indoor
infrastructure that can be used for the exhibits and demonstrations
that take place. Therefore marquees are
needed to provide indoor space and they are an integral part of the
show site.
 
Other options
considered and rejected
Not having indoor space would mean that the
show could not run, therefore there are no alternative options.
