DECISION:
 
RESOLVED
 
1. That the proposed outline structure
of the Local Plan, as set out at Appendix 1 to the report, be
endorsed.
2. That the Infrastructure Delivery
Strategy baseline report, as set out in Appendix 2 to the report,
be endorsed.
3. That the Cornwall Local Plan
Allocations Development Plan Document review, carried out in
accordance with Regulation 10a of the Town and Country Planning
(Local Planning) (England) Regulations (2017), be noted.
4. That the findings for each parish
from the Call for Sites be communicated to Members and the relevant
parishes for information in advance of a subsequent report to the
Cornwall Growth Board.
5. That authority be delegated to the
Service Director for Planning and Housing, in consultation with the
Portfolio Holder for Planning and Housing and the Monitoring
Officer, to develop an Interim Policy Statement in line with the
structure set out in Appendix 4 to the report, and that a draft of
that document be referred to the Economic Growth and Development
Overview and Scrutiny Committee for discussion and to thereafter
undertake internal and external engagement on such a document prior
to adoption.
6. That the emerging principles for the
next Cornwall Local Plan, as set out in Appendix 5 to the report,
be endorsed and referred to the Economic Growth and Development
Scrutiny Committee for discussion.
7. That the Economic Growth and
Development Scrutiny Committee be asked to explore the role and
piloting of Neighbourhood Priority Statements at the earliest
opportunity
8. That £2.540m is committed from
the Place and Green Reserve to fund ongoing preparation of the
Local Plan.
