The
Leadership Board considered and agreed further work towards
achieving the proposed actions with delivery overseen by the
Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Executive Group
a. 
Explore building a system-wide inclusion network
that is open to all and includes public and private sector, VCSE,
education partners and beyond that will, alongside the Fairer
Cornwall Commission, help deliver our aims.
b. 
Explore including the use of the Cornish language
(Kernewek) into business activities and events. For example, use of
Kernewek in introductions to events, incorporate into
presentations, logos, email signatures etc.
c. 
Explore convening a series of workshops to map the
business support / Research and Development support
landscape.
d. 
Determine how the results of the Schools Health
Education Unit (SHEU) survey can be used by partners to ensure they
are meaningful and informative support improvements in education
and health.
 
The Leadership Board noted the
short-term and long-term aspirations of the Strategic Convention
(set out in appendix 2 to the report) and agreed further
exploration of these suggestions, taking into consideration the
comments from the discussion at the Leadership Board
meeting.
