It
was moved by Councillor Ellenbroek, seconded by Councillor Monk,
and
 
RESOLVED:
 
1. 
That the receipt of funding, the Council’s
related management and delivery costs being met from the funding,
and the proposed approach to Connect to Work set out in the report,
be approved in principle.
2. 
That Cornwall Council acts as Accountable Body for
the Connect to Work Programme in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly
(CIoS).
3. 
That authority be delegated to the Section 151
Officer to receive the Connect to Work Grant and uplift the revenue
budget accordingly.
4. 
That authority be delegated to the Strategic
Director for Sustainable Growth and Development to:
 
i. 
approve the final Connect to Work Delivery
Plan;
 
ii. 
in consultation with the Section 151 Officer and the
Monitoring Officer, to enter into the related Grant Funding
Agreement with DWP; and
 
iii. 
take such steps as are necessary to implement
Connect to Work in accordance with the Delivery Plan and funding
requirements, including undertaking any necessary procurement
processes, subject to compliance with the Council’s
procurement rules and procedures.
