It was moved by Councillor
Cole, seconded by Councillor Thomas and
 
RESOLVED:
 
1. 
that the Committee welcomed the opportunity to be
involved in the development of an overarching Corporate Asset
Management Strategy and that comments made at this meeting,
particularly those relating to the Cornwall Council Farms Estate,
be taken into account;
2. 
that a workshop be arranged for the Committee to
consider and support strategy development, to include:
a. 
Examples of different asset classes;
b. 
Exploration of potential asset transfers to parish
and town councils, charities, and third party
organisations;
c. 
Presentation of top-level figures on income and
expenditure across the Council’s asset base to provide
financial context.
