Following consideration of the
above it was moved by Councillor Mckenna, seconded by E
O’Neill and by consensus it was
 
RESOLVED
that the decision made under delegated authority to submit the
formal quarter 1 return to NHS England for 2025-2026 for Cornwall
and the Isles of Scilly’s Better Care Fund be ratified by the
Committee in Common between the Cornwall Health and Wellbeing Board
and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care
Partnership.
 
Actions: 
1.  
Emergency admission avoidance and discharge delays to be picked up
by the Life Course Steering Groups to ensure community based
alternatives were strengthened.
 
2.   To
ensure that the quarter 2 report flag issues in the Better Care
Fund report (intermediate care bed utilisation and spend) were
clearly connected to Section 75 monitoring and co-commissioning
work.
