It as moved by Councillor Moorcroft, seconded by
Councillor Saunby and
RESOLVED
that the revised policy be approved
with the following amendments:-
1. An
additional paragraph be added to condition 3 of the policy as
follows:- ‘Further, a copy of the
Consent must be produced on demand to an authorised officer of
Cornwall Council or a Police Officer.’
2. That bold text be used in the sentence advising those who have
submitted Temporary Event Notices that they need to obtain
permission to use any CC owned land;
3. The following sentence in
the paragraph from Liskeard Town Council (Page 16 of the report
pack) be amended as follows:-
‘although glow sticks are plastic and single
use’ in lieu of ‘although glow sticks are plastic and
singe use’
4. the following paragraph be
in bold text (page 27 of the report):-
‘’Failure to gain
permission from the relevant service potentially creates offences
under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 for
trading without a Consent.”
