The Board:
a) 
noted that the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly
Strategic Housing Group had agreed that Cllr Peter LaBroy would
take on the role of chair, as well as set out its priorities for
the next 12 months.
b) 
noted the work undertaken to prepare a new Housing
Prospectus.
c) 
noted the work being undertaken to look at various
mechanisms to increase the delivery of low cost housing that will
support our local residents, including key workers.
d) 
noted work that had just begun to review Cornwall
Council’s surplus assets, to create a new housing sites
inventory to support a new programme of delivery.
e) 
supported the review of surplus assets extending to
the whole of the public sector estate, to maximise the collective
surplus assets that could help the acceleration of housing
delivery.
