Arising from consideration of
the above, it was proposed by Councillor Clemens, seconded by
Councillor Ball and
 
RESOLVED
that
 
1. 
The Together for Families Overview and Scrutiny
Committee reviewed the Director of Public Health Annual Report
2025/2026 on child poverty the made comments on as outlined in the
minutes above.
2. 
In principle, all the strategies, priorities and
actions proposed by the Director of Public Health based on the
findings of the Annual Report be supported and for the Committee to
undertake further work to embed them in future work
programmes.
3. 
The Committee thanked the officers for their hard
work in developing the Public Health Annual Report and also to
Cabinet on the improvements made.
