Content

Decision:
 
1. 
That the
acquisition of the residential property referenced in the report,
be approved subject:

a. 
to the
Head of Property and Assets and the Head of Legal Services being
satisfied with the result of further due diligence including
satisfactory surveys as outlined in the report,
b. 
to the
business case for the provision of two Cornwall Council provided
children’s homes being approved by the Capital Management
Board and the Commercial Board
c. 
to and
conditional upon a change of use being granted via the planning
process for it to be used as a Children’s Home.
 
2. 
That
authority be delegated to the Head of Property and Assets to
negotiate and confirm the detailed terms and conditions of the
acquisition in accordance with the Code of Practice for Land and
Property Transactions following consultation with the Section 151
Officer and the Monitoring Officer, or their nominees.
