approval of the Adult Education Strategic Skills and Investment
Plan.

DECISION:

 

RESOLVED:
 

1. 
That the Adult Education Budget Strategic Skills
Plan, attached as appendix 1 to the report, be approved for
submission to the Department for Education, alongside supporting
readiness requirements, by the submission deadline of 31 May
2024.

2. 
That authority be delegated to the Service Director
for Economy and Skills to agree changes to the final wording of the
Adult Education Budget Strategic Skills Plan, where necessary, to
respond to post-submission feedback from the Department for
Education.  If any necessary changes are
deemed, in the Service Director’s reasonable opinion, to be
significant, they will be referred to Cabinet or appropriate
individual Cabinet Member for determination.
