RESOLVED
that:
 
1. 
That,
following the Committee's review of the performance dashboard and
specifically the performance within the Committee's remit (e.g.
Vibrant, Safe, Supportive) within the reporting period, the
Committee advises officers on additional work the Committee
considers ought to be undertaken on particular performance
issues.
2. 
The
Chairman write to the Leader of the Council from the Committee to
support her calls and write a letter to the Secretary of State (or
provide a copy of the one already sent), regarding longer term
fairer funding and the need for a multi-annual (in preference to
one off) ongoing funding solution to enable planning of services
with greater assurity.
3. 
That the Committee holds
an informal session to scope the terms of reference for a mini
inquiry into funding for Adult Social Care and Public Health
funding.  The inquiry to bring recommendations to formal
scrutiny.
4. 
The
Committee acknowledges the hard work that the Adult Social Care
team are doing in the current difficult financial climate to
achieve a balanced positon.
