RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CABINET MEMBER FOR
CHILDREN AND FAMILIES:

1. 
That the Council joins and plays an active role in
the Cornwall Youth Work Collective, including offering advice and
expertise to support collective activity; to support the Collective
to share best practice; to develop the National Youth Agency
quality standards for Youth Work in Cornwall; to offer peer support
across the voluntary and community youth sector; and to support the
work of Young Ambassadors in consulting young people and supporting
youth work providers. 

2. 
That an Annual Youth Work Conference be delivered in
partnership.

3. 
That consideration be given to an All Member
Briefing on the outcome of the review.

RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CABINET MEMBER FOR
NEIGHBOURHOODS:

 
1. 
That Community Area Partnerships be invited to make
youth provision a standing Agenda item and invite Council Officers,
where appropriate, to facilitate input from local youth
organisations and young people to inform local planning.

2. 
That Community Area Partnerships be encouraged to
use available local resources to fuel additional community led
youth provision.
