It was moved by Councillor
Conway, seconded by Councillor Wells, and
 
RESOLVED 
that:
 
1. 
The proposed changes to the Member Development
Strategy as set out at Appendix 1 of the report, including the list
of mandatory training be approved;
2. 
Authority be delegated to the Democratic Lead and
Statutory Scrutiny Officer to finalise and publish the revised
Member Development Strategy;
 
It was also RESOLVED  that it
be RECOMMENDED TO THE STANDARDS COMMITTEE that
non-compliance with mandatory training as set out in the Member
Development Strategy should represent a breach of the Code of
Conduct and the Code of Conduct be updated in this
respect.
