It was moved by Councillor
Conway, seconded by Councillor Guest, and
 
RESOLVED 
that it be RECOMMENDED TO COUNCIL that:-
 
1. 
The current Members’ Safeguarding and Criminal
Records Check policy, including the necessary amendments made to
reflect current role and team tiles, address grammatical issues and
updating contact details and embedded links be endorsed;
and
2. 
The current check levels, being basic checks for all
Members but enhanced checks for all Cabinet Members be
endorsed.

that there be a further review and report to this Committee on the
level of checks for Members once any legislative changes flowing
from the independent review, or otherwise, are
introduced.
