The Democratic Lead and
Statutory Scrutiny Officer outlined the report.
 
During discussion it was
commented that the amendments were sensible and that the wording
implications had not previously been fully considered.  The amendments would give flexibility.
 
It was moved by Councillor J
Thomas, seconded by Councillor Conway, and
 
RESOLVED 
that:-
 
1. 
The Work Programme be approved, subject to bringing
forward the Disclosure Barring Service report to September 2023 and
adding an item around political proportionality and committee
sizes;
2. 
Amendments to the Committee Work Programme be
determined by the Chairman of the Committee, in consultation with
the Vice-Chairman, Monitoring Officer and the Democratic Services
Lead, with any changes to be given effect by the Monitoring
Officer.  The Committee to be notified
as soon as any such changes are approved.
 
Discussion to take place with
Appeals Committee Members in terms of parameters of the Committee
and its associated processes in respect of decision
making.
