It was moved by Councillor
Dwelly, seconded by Councillor Conway and
 
RESOLVED
that
 
(i) 
the direction of travel, as set out in the
Transformation Plan, in order to address the issues identified in
the Housing Options Review be noted.
(ii) 
Cornwall Council be recommended to consider the
re-establishment of a single integrated housing department to
streamline the service and increase accountability.
 
Actions:
 
1.   For the
committee to receive regular updates on housing demand was
met.
 
2.   To improve
process/systems on accessing the Housing Options Team by
Councillors.
 
3.   To provide
data on the average time families spend in temporary
accommodation.
 
4. 
  To
provide Cllr Rich a written answer on the issues outlined in a
recent newspaper article on the Council’s housing
cabins.
