moved by Councillor Mustoe, seconded by
Councillor Perry and
 

RESOLVED:
 

1. 
That the Committee noted the data and the trends in
said data and continued to support the work done by the Education
Welfare Service to support children, families and
schools.

2. 
That the Committee acknowledged the work to date on
improving attendance in our schools and provided feedback to
officers on actions and outcomes in that area to help the service
shape further work to increase attendance going forward as set out
in the minutes of the meeting.

3. 
That the Committee asked officers for such
clarifications as may be required and provided observations to
inform further work as set out in the minutes of the
meeting.
