RESOLVED
that

Welcomes the DPH Annual Report and endorses its
recommendations

Call for CIOS ICB to follow the example of the
Council in becoming a “Real Living Wage Employer”, so
that all employees, including those working for providers and their
contractors are paid at least the Foundation Living
Wage.

Call on Leader to work with MPs to lobby Government
to replace SPF funding so that the “People Hub” can be
continued / expanded.

Call on Leader to work with MPs to lobby Government
for disability / sickness benefits to be reformed so that people do
not risk “having the safety net taken away” when they
“dip their toe” into the labour market.
