It was moved by Councillor
Wells, seconded by Councillor Conway, and RESOLVED
that:
 
1. 
Section 12 of the ‘Guidance for Members and
Officers Dealing with Planning Matters’ be changed to reflect
the need to register to speak at Planning Committees;
2. 
Adjoining Parish/Town Councils be allowed to speak,
and representatives from other Parish/Town Councils be allowed to
speak if a Planning application covers more than one
area;
3. 
Electoral Division Members be encouraged to liaise
with their Town and Parish Councils when an application in their
area is referred to a Planning Committee.
