The
Leader moved a motion that Cabinet exclude the press and the public
from the meeting for consideration of item 12, in accordance with
the provisions of Paragraph 4(2)(b) of the Local Authorities
(Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) (England)
Regulations 2012 on the grounds that their presence could involve
the likely disclosure of exempt information as described in
specific paragraph 2 and 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government
Act 1972, with the public interest in maintaining the exemption
outweighing the public interest in disclosure.
 
Councillor Evemy seconded the
motion.
