Purpose

To seek approval to establish a Joint Committee with partner councils to support the Local Government Reorganisation programme, providing governance, oversight and coordinated decision-making during the transition.

The Leader announced that this item was being withdrawn from the agenda in light of the government’s announcements on Monday 7 September 2026 pausing of the implementation of Local Government Reorganisation in Gloucestershire.
