The purpose of the report was to consider an
application for discretionary rate relief for the 2023/2024
Business Rates liability in respect of SLM Community Leisure Trust
which is in excess of £10,000.
 
The Leader asked the report author, the
Business Manager - Environmental, Welfare & Revenue Service in
the absence of the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance
Councillor Evemy to introduce the report. 
 
The recommendations were proposed by
Councillor Joe Harris and seconded by Councillor Paul
Hodgkinson.
