The Strategy and Delivery Manager approved the Local Lettings Policy for 33 new homes at Oxford Close, Seaham on 11 September 2026. The policy was approved to ensure a balanced and sustainable community by implementing additional eligibility criteria beyond the Durham Key Options Allocations Policy. The policy includes a local connection preference for those on the DKO register who live within the Seaham ward or an adjoining parish or ward.
