Purpose

To approve and adopt the Crawley Local
Development Scheme 2025 to 2028. The Local Development Scheme (LDS)
outlines the number and scope of the Local Development Documents
the council intends to bring forward and sets out the timetable and
the programme for how these will be progressed over the forthcoming
three years.
All Local Planning Authorities have been required by the government
to prepare and approve an updated Local Development Scheme (LDS)
and publish this and submit it to MHCLG by 6 March.
It is proposed therefore that this new LDS 2025 to 2028 updates and
replaces the current adopted Local Development Scheme 2024 to
2027.
