Purpose

The decision relates to the acquisition of a
property SHAPS/090/FW10 comprising 10 new-build apartments.
This acquisition for SHAPS/090/FW10 is made under the agreement by
Cabinet on 24th July 2024 in respect to report SHAPS/090, to permit
the acquisition of properties from the market for use as temporary
accommodation in Crawley Borough Council ownership.
Resolution (b) in that report delegates the negotiation, approval
and completion of all relevant documentation, including legal
paperwork, to the Head of Strategic Housing, the Head of
Governance, People and Performance, and the Head of Corporate
Finance, in consultation with the Leader of the Council and the
Cabinet Member for Housing.
