Purpose

This is the second stage in the contract award
process following the signing of a Letter of Intent.

Decision to award the contract to the selected tender respondent
following evaluation of all tender responses received during the
Crawley Innovation Centre Managing Agent procurement process. The
Managing Agent will run the Crawley Innovation Centre and delivery
building occupancy targets and related key performance indicators
on behalf of the Council - establishing the Innovation Centre as a
key asset for local small businesses and business innovation.

Notification that the Leader (in consultation with the Cabinet
Member for Planning and Economic Development, Head of Economy and
Planning, and Head of Governance, People & Performance) would
be taking the decision to award this contract was published in
IB/1267.

Content

Approve the signing of the Operational
Management Agreement contract between Crawley Borough Council and
Oxford Innovation Limited for the latter to perform the duties of
Crawley Innovation Centre Managing Operator for up to five
years.

This decision was taken in consultation with
the Cabinet Member for Planning and Economic Development, the Head
of Economy and Planning and Head of Governance, People & Performance via
Legal Management Team (Legal Services Manager and Data &
Democracy Manager).
