Purpose
The report is intended to provide Cabinet with
an update on the collection and administration of Community
Infrastructure Levy (CIL) monies including a review of the
Strategic Infrastructure strand priorities and proposed future
spend allocations for the Neighbourhood Improvement
Strand.
Content
RESOLVED
That the Cabinet approves:
a)
the proposed CIL strategic infrastructure spend priorities 2026-29
as set out in section 5.4 of report
PES/510.
b)
the ringfencing of the following total amounts of CIL Strategic
Infrastructure Strand monies for the priority spend priorities for
2026-29:

Three Bridges Station Improvement scheme - £2,585,608
·
A2011 Crawley Avenue / A2004 Northgate Avenue improvements -
£360,000
·
Tushmore Junction improvements - £958,804
Reasons for the
Recommendations
a)
To confirm Crawley’s priority CIL Strategic Infrastructure
Strand schemes for 2026-2029.
b)
To ringfence CIL Strategic Infrastructure Strand monies for the
above three priority projects as set out in 2.2b of report
PES/510 to ensure sufficient funds to enable delivery of the
schemes going forward.
