Purpose
To seek approval to update Deed of Variation in relation to Crawley Leisure Contract
Decision
Exempt Paragraph 3 – Information relating to financial and business affairs of any particular person (including the Authority holding that information)
RESOLVED
That the Cabinet:
a) approves the contract variation for the Crawley Leisure Contract whereby the Leisure Operator (Everyone Active) will become the Council’s agent for the purpose of collecting income for the supply of services to the public.
b) delegates authority to the Head of Corporate Finance, Head of Law & Governance and Head of Major Projects and Commercial Services to complete variation of the Crawley Leisure Contract to an agency model as per the terms set out in report HPS/052.
(Generic Delegation 3 will be used to enact this recommendation).
Reasons for the Recommendations
The recommendations will provide for an additional £144,000 income per annum to the Council for the remainder of the contract period.
