Purpose

To proceed with the acquisition of the
off-plan "turnkey" purchase referred to in paragraph 5.2 of the
report to Cabinet report (CH/201) and the award of contract for the
project to deliver Council-owned affordable housing.

The decision will be enacting resolutions (b) and (d) relating to
the report which were agreed by the Cabinet at its meeting on 27
September 2023.

The decision will be taken by the Leader in consultation with the
Cabinet Member and officers identified in resolution (d).

Content

In consultation with the Cabinet Member for
Housing, the Head of Crawley Homes, and the Head of Governance,
People & Performance entered into contract with the provider
for the delivery of the scheme detailed in section 6 of report
CH/205 for Council-owned affordable housing on a
‘turnkey’ basis.
