Purpose

Further to the decision to sign a letter of
intent which was taken by the Leader on 20 November 2023 and
published in Councillors’ Information Bulletin IB/1209 and
report PES/449 which was considered by Cabinet on 29 November 2023
the Leader will be requested to approve (in consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Planning and Economic Development, Head of
Economy and Planning and Head of Governance, People &
Performance) the award of contract for these works, which will
establish physically the Crawley Innovation Centre.

Content

To approve the award of the Works Construction Contract for the Crawley Innovation Centre
(Travel House) to the main contractor as
an NEC4 EEC SCAPE
framework call off contract, subject to contract and the
successful conclusion of contract negotiations (in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning and
Economic Development, Head of Economy and Planning and Head of
Governance, People & Performance.
