Purpose

Subject to the outcome of contract
negotiations, to award a building conversion works construction
contract under the SCAPE framework to a prime contractor for the
Crawley Innovation Centre. Delegation to the Leader was given by
Cabinet at its meeting on 6th July 2022 (PES 417 refers).

Approve the sign off of
a Letter of Intent, which commits the contractor to deliver for the
Council a preliminary phase of building conversion works to Travel
House, up to the value of £1 million and within the contract
value set out in consideration report PES/444 which
was published for Councillor’s only on 31 October 2023 in
Councillors’ Information Bulletin
